Farewell National Poetry Month. Parting is such sweet sorrow!
Hope the April showers rained down lots of wonderful, poetic inspirations for everyone.
Here's my last poem for the month. I hope it inspires you to dream big!
What if snow fell
In ninety-nine flavors,
And you could eat it right out of the air?
What if your friends
And you were all sailors,
And you all could explore anywhere?
What if the clouds
Rained down music for you,
And you could splash out your very own song?
What if your thoughts
Became life-like and true,
And you could make things as you walked along?
What if the moon
Whispered wondrous secrets,
And came back to share them again?
What if your dreams
Grew like tender young leaflets
And blossomed – Ah yes! What then?
