I have a friend named Dorothy Drew
Who once said she had a pet dragon.
She said he was tall and scaly and green
And she pulled him along in a wagon.
She said he could breathe out fire and smoke
And fly if the notion should seize him.
She said he could eat a whole pig in one gulp,
So I asked if I could please see him.
She told me to meet her the next day at ten
And she promised to show me her dragon.
The next day I got there as fast as I could
And found Dorothy there with her wagon.
I looked at the wagon and saw nothing there
And I said that I didn’t believe her.
She looked at the wagon then turned ‘round and said,
“He doesn’t believe in you either!”
